General Manager - Marketing
Melissa moved into the role of General Manager – Marketing from her previous position as Sealord’s Head of Marketing & Innovation. Melissa continues to be responsible for the Innovation team and now both internal and external Communications. The remit of Sealord Marketing is global and the team plays a big part in helping the company achieve the vision of “Looking after our whānau and the environment to bring quality seafood to the world.”
Prior to joining Sealord, Melissa had 16 years’ experience in the ANZ Food & Beverage sectors, largely within FMCG and Foodservice/Hospitality including senior roles at Pernod Ricard and Goodman Fielder in a variety of positions across Marketing & Category Management.
Melissa has a Masters degree in Marketing & International Management from Waikato University and is passionate about keeping the needs of consumers and customers at the forefront of everything.
