Associate Director

Rawinia is from Ngāti Tukorehe and Ngāti Kahungunu descent, and has been the General Manager of Kahungunu Asset Holding Company for the last four years overseeing the iwi’s fisheries, farming, forestry and property interests.

Rawinia has worked across the public and private sector in senior management roles and has interests in leveraging commercial relationships to progress Maori development business opportunities, growth and outcomes.

As an Associate Director with Sealord, Rawinia expects to add seafood sector governance to her operational seafood experience, to advance the ambitions of iwi and the Maori fisheries sector.
