Wild caught New Zealand Hoki comes from one of the world's best managed fisheries

Sealord Hoki is caught under the Quota Management System, a strictly controlled system that aims to protect the health of New Zealand's fisheries, now and for generations to come.  Moreover, the Hoki species is a well-managed and sustainable fishery in accordance with the Marine Stewardship Council's Principles and Criteria.

We're always looking at ways to improve how we do things, from lowering our carbon emissions and waste, to reducing our impact on other marine life when fishing. 

Because Aotearoa's natural fisheries are taonga - a precious resource!
